Encouraging Change Together

Overcoming Obstacles to Empower Change

Using story to and encourage individuals to live confidently and unapologetically as themselves.

My Story

Confidently, Chronically Me

There will never be a day where I’m not chronically-ill and disabled, but there can always be a day where I’m confidently and chronically myself.

My belief is that the best way to handle life-changing events are to stare them in the face and say, “I’m here anyway”. Confidently, chronically me is a phrase I developed in a moment where I questioned everything about my life: my dreams, my hopes, my physical capabilities. It was a decision: regardless of all the struggles that came with my conditions, I would live confidently as myself. Now, I take that message to groups all over in the hopes that I can encourage everyone to live as their genuine, unique selves, without apology. You owe it to yourself to live confidently and “chronically” as you.

How I Do My Talking

These are the types of projects I usually do, but I’m always open to discussing something unique!

Want an exciting, unique presentation for your group or business? No PowerPoints here: just a girl, her wheelchair, and a unique sense of humor that will have your audience torn between rolling laughter and intense self-reflection. They’ll leave with a message they won’t forget.

I’m always open to sharing my story on aligned platforms. I’m a true believer that change happens because we are able to connect our story with others. I’ve done interviews on podcasts, YouTube videos, and television segments, so I’m familiar with a wide variety of styles and formats.

Articles and More

Looking for an expert? I have background with childhood trauma, pediatric cancer treatment and the patient experience, and more. I’m also willing to write personal pieces on experiences.
